One of the benefits of my job includes a schedule that allows me to babysit my nephew from time to time. He didn’t know it, but we had a little photo session last week during our time together. He’s great practice and so adorable I can barely stand it!

Meet Alex & her happy family. The lovely and talented Alex is half responsible for No Little Emperors a wonderful little weblog “written by, for, and about parents of one-child families.” She has also written for Gapers Block, another Chicago favorite. I’ve been a big fan of her work for years, so to have the opportunity to photograph her family was a complete honor.

Over the next month I will finalize my 2007 pricing and will then open up the 2007 calendar for new appointments. Pricing should be up by November 1st and I’ll start booking new sessions on December 1st.
My apologies to those who have already asked to book in 2007. I’m taking some time to take a good look at my scheduling. I tend to overbook myself and I want to have a better game plan for the year ahead. That is best for all of us!
