Their family was a referral from another family that I’ve photographed, for gosh, at least five years. We were a perfect match from the start. I love the extra step of closeness a referral can bring not too mention a few long phone conversations. I felt like part of the family within about five minutes which makes me and my camera super happy.

Apparently, it makes kids happy too! The Little Miss was getting a cold and the Little Mister was getting over a cold, but still they ran, played and smiled their hearts out on this brisk autumn afternoon.

Adorable. Fun. These two won my heart — I want to photograph them every day.

Chicago Photographer Missing?

Nope, not me. I’m the busy bee you hear buzzing in the background. My schedule has been jam packed with families and tots. Most of which I have photographed in the past. I’m having a blast getting to see how each little one has grown.

I first photographed this family when the youngest of this charming sister set was only three months old. She’s a big grown up three years old now! Oh how the time flies!

Too fast. Too fast!

Sisters

The mom of these lovely little ladies recently scheduled an appointment to update their portraits. The images shown here were taken last year. I pulled these images from a folder I keep on my Mac with my favorite images from each portrait session. It helps to keep faces and names fresh in my head and to get me even more exited to see each DMP kid “all grown up”.
I remember this session like it was yesterday. These girls were a blast. I can’t wait to work with them again this summer.

Recent Work .. Brother & Sister

One of my first sessions back was with a family I’ve been photographing for nearly three years. The oldest was only four months old at our first session. Time goes so very fast. She’s already three!!!

Recent Session: Seven Years + Eighteen Months

These two were all sorts of adorable. We had wanted to do an outdoor session, but realized a few weeks ago that the weather had already turned and we weren’t likely to get a decent weather day. Luckily, we had a permit for the Lincoln Park Conservatory.
As a note to future appointments, sessions can be held at the Lincoln Park Conservatory all year round as long as you ask me to apply for a permit within two weeks of your session date. Permits are $50 per hour.
